One of the aspirants for the Ikorodu Constituency I seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Oluwatoyin Gafaar Bolowotan has moved another step closer to achieving his aims of representing Ikorodu come 2027.
Since making this significant step, his involvement has further intensify conversations within party structures and among constituents across Ikorodu.
Bolowotan who was the former Director – General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, picked his Expression of Interest and the Nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday. With this, the aspirant has underscored his determination to participate in the upcoming primary elections of his party.

Speaking after obtaining the form, Bolowotan outlined his vision for the constituency, emphasizing a governance approach rooted in humanity and people-driven leadership. He noted that his focus would be on delivering responsive representation, strengthening grassroots engagement, and advancing policies that directly impact the lives of the people.
According to him, the mandate he seeks is one that prioritizes inclusiveness, development, and accountability, with a commitment to addressing critical needs within the constituency.
Bolowotan who is aspiring for the seat for the third term picked his forms ahead of the official declaration of his interest on Saturday in Ikorodu.
